Would you/could you look at the pics of dead Osama Bin Laden?
by Broken Promises inif, and i'm saying, if, the pics of osama were released, would you want to look at them?.
do you think you could stomach the sight of a man with a bullet through the eye?.
or would it be worth it just to prove once and for all that the terrorist king is dead?.

spirits don't exist. and if they did, they couldn't beat you, as they are spirits. to beat someone, you need some kind of drag, which immaterial things can't have.
i'd go there for fun. at least if they serve beer.

Being raciest, need clarity.
by free2beme ingrowing up a witness, and having black friends and and relatives.
i was kind of in the dark as to what being a raciest was really based on.
so as i get older and think about it more, i thought it might be an interesting question to discuss what you think makes a person raciest and how they base this thinking.. i am going to use the african american racism in this example, as i think that more then any other group.

as long as you still distinguish between "white" and "black" you are a racist. there is no white and black. there are people of different hue (actually more CMYK, with emphasis on the K) levels, ok, but i have only once met a really white and a really black person. the rest is somewhere in between.

For British exjws: how has your view of the Royal Family etc changed
by jean-luc picard inwith the royal wedding in the news,.
has your perspective of the royal family, her majesty the queen, the national anthem, and maybe politics in general, changed since you left the borg?.
even if you're not british, would you say you are more patriotic now?.
-
J. Hofer
not british, not into all that royal family and other paparazzi stuff, and definately NOT patriotic.
my view is that i can only be proud of things i accomplish, not of things that are simply random. additionally, i'm rather ashamed of all those jokes running "my" country. at least the neighbouring countries are not a bit better in that respect...

best(?) friend's wedding: no invitation for me...
by J. Hofer in) best friends is marrying, he already gave out wedding invitations, several of his "worldly" work mates are invited.
me and a friend of mine are not invited, because of supposedly being "marked" (didn't even know about that) and inactive.
the funny part is that the bride's parents are "marked" and inactive too.. but then i attended weddings where even the groom's brother didn't show up to not lose his "privilege" of ministerial servant.... the other one who isn't invited says he doesn't care, as he knew it'll go that way.

cheers all. well, he calls me time and again if i want to go drink a beer with him, but since i know that he's not man enough to do his own thing instead of bowing to the elders, i always told him that i'm busy. it's not like he has any "privileges", he's never gonna be MS or something. you can actually have a good time with him and recently i did go out with him and some of his work mates, he got really drunk and didn't stop hugging me and telling me he loves me and stuff... well, i payed his drinks, as he lost his wallet... omg.
i've been out long enough to not be disturbed in my day to day life by all this, but when i think about it i'm really angry. i wouldn't like to be there, ok, but he could have at least invited me. on of my other best friends seems to be "directing" the party, whatever that means. that ones wedding i did attend. and he already told me he doesn't care if i'm disfellowshipped or whatever, he'll always treat me the same.
